Coachchem Laboratory Story | Episode Fourteen:Unlock a New Application of EUK-134 — EUK-134 Microspheres

.EUK-134, short for Ethylbis(imino methyl)guaiacol manganese chloride, exhibits dual enzymatic activities similar to superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT). It exerts antioxidant effects through the redox cycling of manganese and can regenerate during use.

.EUK-134 offers superior photostability and bioavailability, making it more easily absorbed by the skin.

.Pure EUK-134 is relatively unstable in aqueous solutions and should not be used together with acidic ingredients. It is generally suitable for dual-phase systems (separating dry and wet components), lyophilized powders, or can be dissolved in polyols.

.EUK-134 microspheres improve the stability of the ingredient in formulations, allowing for long-lasting, sustained release while offering a more visually appealing form.

.EUK-134 microspheres can be directly incorporated into formulations. They are recommended for systems with moderate viscosity, not suitable for anhydrous (all-oil) systems, and should be mixed using a frame stirrer.
